Senior AssociateCraig is a Senior Associate and Project Manager at Ciccozzi Architecture. He has worked as a project manager on a large scale of projects from single family homes to mixed-use multi high-rise tower developments, including adaptive reuse projects, small and large commercial, assisted living, healthcare and social housing. His project background covers wood, steel, and concrete construction and all phases of the architectural process from feasibility studies to post occupancy, typically working on specification review and revisions, building code and construction document review, review of legal documentation, coordinating consultant team drawings, and facilitating the construction process with on-site coordination and review.
Craig is a graduate of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s syllabus program, a LEED accredited professional (BD+C), and holds a Post Bachelor Diploma in Architecture from the University of Athabasca, as well as both a Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (History) degree from the University of Manitoba.
He likes to work on staff development; training staff on construction applications and their relation to the construction documents, design documents versus field applications, specific construction products and their restrictions and installation, specification review, on-site practices, efficient documentation and record keeping systems, and quality assurance practices.
Outside of the office Craig sits as a commissioner on the City of Vancouver’s heritage commission to advise on the need for preserving heritage buildings, the costs and benefits of their preservation, the compatibility of preservation with other uses and recommendations on the designation of heritage buildings. In his free time he enjoys playing retro video games, tabletop games and reading.
